WP Electrical (MELB NORTH WEST)

I have had the worst possible experience with this group of electricians from WP. I have given them a rating of one star because I could not give them zero. I engaged the electrician from the Tullamarine area to remove an electric stove. I was charged $754. Of that $190 was the Admin fee just to call them out and then an outrageous sum of $350 to check one wire which was only replaced about 5 years ago when the stove was initially installed. There was a charge of $80 for an electrical certificate and $130 for vehicle expenses. Really I have to cover their petrol and vehicle running costs. Their work is shoddy and unsafe leaving dangerous wires exposed without knowing if they are live. If I can help one person to avoid these over priced greedy mf electricians my task of leaving this review will help you engage other professional electricians who know what they are doing. They also provide quotes to ensure they create work for themselves. I mean $2,300 for an in wall air conditioner cavity to replace an old air conditioner where there already exists a frame for the changeover. Absolute greedy clowns. Avoid if you can and get someone decent.

The work was completed efficiently and thoroughly, and the pricing was fair. Cameron who was working on the job had immaculate personal presentation and he managed to turn my shocking experience into a bright one (pun intended). I really appreciated how well he cleaned up after the job was done, he clearly takes huge pride in his work. If you're looking for a reliable electrician who knows their stuff, I highly recommend WP.

I could not be happier with the entire work that was done. Cameron was on time, friendly and helpful. The light was installed where a light had never been before. He even went to the trouble of centreing it perfectly. All done in an hour. I have already booked another job !
