Select Electrical and Solar Solutions (CANBERRA)

Duane from Select Electrical provided our quote. He was very informative in the information he provided (we did check to confirm this). While not the cheapest quote we determined it to be the best bang for our buck. Their installation team was on time and on target. Again they were helpful and informative and polite. We had a good yak with them during the installation process and they explained how they did the installation. No mess was left behind. Grid connection was organised and we are waiting on our smart meter to be installed by our provider. All in all a good experience.

I had a three phase 20kw system installed with the majority of the panels facing south. This is a contentious approach but Josh was fantastic in talking it through, offering data and suggesting ways to maximize the system design while navigating a tricky roof layout. They also meet my aesthetic requirements with black railing / black panels on a dark roof - best decision, looks great or more to the point we don’t notice it. All staff were courteous and clean and more than happy to explain the process and answer my many questions. Nothing was too challenging for the team. For those with a southern aspect roof don’t discount the benefits of solar. My expirence has been they produce almost the same than northern panels in late spring through to early autumn, during winter they are about 50% efficient compared to northern counterparts. For me it has been totally worth it and no regrets at all. For anyone contemplating a solar system I have no hesitation in recommending Select Electrical.

I have engaged Select Electrical on a number of occasions and have been very happy with the professional, prompt service each time. The staff are all very courteous and respectful when working in my home and clean up thoroughly on completion. I would have Select Electrical back in a heartbeat (hoping I don’t jinx myself)!
