I was given an estimate of ~$580, so the $820 bill came as a shock. The explanation? Extra charges for an apprentice to fetch a GPO outlet—an item you’d expect them to have on hand. Charging 1.5 hours at $80/hr for this felt excessive. To their credit, Nicole handled my complaint professionally and reduced the bill to just over $600, which I appreciated. Despite the sticker shock, the quality of their work and responsiveness make them worth recommending—just clarify costs upfront!
I’ve always had excellent service from O’Brien Electrical, and today was no exception. Keegan came out and did an outstanding job. He was professional, courteous, and efficient, taking the time to explain everything clearly and consultatively. He treated me with respect and worked around the mess in my home without complaint. What really stood out was his attention to detail and the pride he took in his work – he even went above and beyond to address a minor issue outside the scope of the job, showing genuine care for the result.
